Show off your creativity and your family!!.. the love of decorating...

I wanted to post a picture of my favorite item in my home. It cost probably 3 dollars to make this project. We grabbed a tree branch out of the backyard and  I spray painted these different frames in a high gloss RED paint. I love how they turned out... may not be able to see from the picture but I outlined the pictures in bark i collected with the kids at the park. Swing some twine over the branch.. and you have your family pictures "hanging" So much fun and I absolutely love looking at my beautiful family displayed in such a unique way. I dont know if I could EVER switch this out for anything else. I love it that much

I'm becoming an old wood frame window hoarder!! I love them. I painted this one red and used it as a frame for our pictures. I have seen this idea before... and never wanted to do it because I thought it was so popular.. but this window needed some attention and I NEEDED something in this space. I get so many compliments on it.. from the cute kids to the cute idea!

DIY Shattered mirror wall art

So there is a space in our home , what used to be an empty space above
                                                     "my loves" LOVE.

I knew I wanted to do a project with mirrow I got from a garage sale for 2 bucks!
I though I wanted something fancy and feminine but when I told Jimmy about my idea he was pretty stoked about doing sea life. And he was excited to help if it was a shark. Which was cool for me because there is nothing I love more than crafting, than crafting with him <3 We had a great time! and we love how it turned out. This guy gets a lot of attention and looks fabulous over our new salt water tank.
Jimmy made sure to have teeth and gills which was a great touch from him. ( I wouldn't have thought of that on my own.) Yea he's a beast.
                                                               SKETCH
                                                              SMASH
we covered the mirror with a sheet while smashing
Collected miscellaneous pieces and puzzle them to your work. we used a cheap Luann plywood.
The picture is terrible! but the shark looks great and we added a battery operated light behind him for the silhouette effect.

You are my sunshine! Before and After

So I got this cute little easel at a thrift store for 2 dollars.

I am working on a space in our home that I call
"the inbetween room" I have some plans on displaying my children's art work and projects in a cute little fashion. This easel will go perfect in that area. Now that its got a little love. I just painted the wood grey and picked up a paint marker from Joann's to write "you are my sunshine" song. I like how it turned out and I'm excited to finish the space. One project down...

Love in the Air....

Last month was so busy for me! Full of challenges. We moved into a smaller home where the kids are now sharing a room. (a tiny room) *a later post*.  And my dear friend Jenn asked me to decorate and be the officiant for her wedding... with about 10 days notice.
SO busy!! I was absolutely honored to be a part of such a special day for the two of them. My children carried a "Here Comes The Bride" sign instead of a ring bearer and flower girl. They were perfect. And I got to pronounce them husband and wife! The budget was small and I have to say it was a success. She loves nature and asked for a rustic, nature theme.  The bride and groom were both very happy. I love them both and wish them the happiest days to come. I do not have many pics of the decor but here is a couple I did manage to snag.

Not quite the cool blogger mom...

I am so excited to finally put all the ideas and expectations of what a blog "should be" and "should look like" aside!! Over It! I'm just hoping I will catch on soon... Until then I am okay with not being one of the cool blogger moms... That's what I call all the blogs that I stalk and look up to. " The cool blogger moms" someday.. someday...
I had thought of a name for over a year.. nothing quite fit me.. The other night I got the song stuck in my head .. Its all about the money money money by Jessie J. (Price tag) and then my blog was born. So... Welcome! . to me and to you. lets get lovely.
